
The leadership of the Youth General Assembly, New Owerri World Bank Housing Estate, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Owerri Municipal, seeking collaboration and support for their initiatives.
During the visit, the group's Chairman Comrade Chiemeka Nwaru outlined their mission and vision, highlighting past programs and unveiling plans for an upcoming medical outreach. He appealed to the Executive Chairman for support and encouragement to strengthen their impact within the community.
In his response, the Executive Chairman Hon. Bldr. Chidiebere Emeribe*commended the youth body for its proactive approach and urged them to foster unity with other youth organizations in the area. He emphasized the importance of aligning with the local government to benefit from the developmental programs of the 3R government, stating that its impact is undeniable.
Furthermore, he advised the group to clearly define its ideology to avoid conflicts with existing youth structures in the locality. He stressed the need for continuous community engagement and sensitization to ensure that residents understand and support their objectives.
